Summer School “Using Lisbon Treaty for Building Active Citizenship”.
Human Rights Monitoring Institute is currently accepting applications for the Summer School “Using Lisbon Treaty for Building Active Citizenship”.
The Summer School is designed for young professionals from EU-based NGOs, who are interested in EU and human rights law as well as in developing effective human rights advocacy campaigns. The aim of the course is to provide the participants with a solid understanding of the EU Charter on Fundamental Rights and the concept of the European citizenship and to equip them with tools for raising awareness and advocating for an active EU citizenship in their home countries.

When: 6-12 August 2012
Eligibility: residents of EU member states
Deadline for applications: 1 June 2012
Costs: travel and living expenses covered for selected participants
